<p>In the current climate, bank branch closures have become commonplace as companies reduce their physical footprint in favor of online banking. But while Wells Fargo is certainly not the <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href=" target="_blank">only major bank</a> that has shut down locations in recent months, it's notable for having closed hundreds of branches over the past several years. In fact, in 2021, it closed <a rel="noopener noreferrer external nofollow" href=" target="_blank">more in-person locations</a> than any other bank, CNBC reported.
