
Last week I shared some regrets I have about last year’s kitchen renovation. As I stated in my blog, the majority of regrets are due to the need to make fast decisions and install things right away for the show that we were involved with. Overall, I’d have done it differently. Is it okay? Yes! Liveable? Yes! Is it important? Nope! But it doesn’t mean that I’m not thinking about it every time I walk into the kitchen. And the stairs are in the exact same boat. So, let’s talk regrets again! It’s always fun to hear about other people’s right?!
Staircase regrets
I got a lot of help with all the renovations that we did in the house, and the staircase was the most collaborative because it was out of my comfort zone. I mentioned all about how the staircase came to be in this post so I won’t go into all the details here, but pretty much, once I arrived on my concept, to bring in a bit of old Scandinavian folk combined with floral whimsy, I was fairly certain I’d love it, and I absolutely do, but there are some little things that I would have done differently.
