Mae Martin’s new Netflix special SAP Released Tuesday, the comedian claims that it was “a fantasy.”

Martin is a nonbinary man who speaks about LGBTQ+ issues frequently. SAPDave Chappelle and other public figures have been transphobic in recent years. Martin says the representation is important but that it doesn’t weigh them down.

“I hope that some young people find it useful, but don’t worry too much about that stuff.
