Mohammed continues, “Even worse, it’s almost impossible to find queer Muslims in films. Both of these communities, which I am a member of and love, have been historically marginalized.” When we see them in joy, it’s revolutionary and defies a lot stereotypes. “It lets them know that we’re human.
