Jennifer Lopez recently spoke out about the health scares she suffered from due to exhaustion.
The singer of “On the Floor,” opened up to a newsletter about her late twenties. She said that it was a time she felt like she was “…”invincible.” Lopez spoke about her hectic day-to-day life at this time, which included little sleep and constant work.
According to PEOPLE the actress wrote:
“There was a period in my life when I slept 3 to 5 hours per night. I would be in the studio all day, and on set at night. On weekends, I would do junkets and record videos.
J LO recalled feeling “frozen” after following this plan for many years.
“I know it was panic attack due to exhaustion. However, I had never heard of the term.”
52-year-old thought she was going insane and not suffering from mental or physical health issues. She tells of how she was inspired by her hospital stay to make major lifestyle changes.
“I asked my doctor if I was crazy. “No, you are not crazy,” he said. Sleep is essential. Sleep between 7 and 9 hours per night. Avoid caffeine. Get your workouts in if this is a lot of work.
