While we are making our house into a home I am thinking a lot about my childhood house. To his dismay, my uncle is a painter of fine art and we were fortunate to inherit many of his rejected works. Even though they weren’t his proudest moments, they were meaningful to us and made our house feel beautiful. There’s something about a real painting with real brushstrokes done by a real human–it’s imbued with life. In preparation of the rest our home renovations I thought it’d be fun to demonstrate how to create a room based on a painting with Singulart. My parents let me borrow many of these paintings for the Magnolia show that we did earlier this year. They wanted to have something on the wall.
