Home Gym Progress (Plus, Lighting, Window Treatment, Door Color & Shelving Decisions)

I’m making progress on the home gym, although I’m at the point where progress is moving along pretty slowly because I’m working on the trim. I now have all of the trim installed, and it’s all wood filled and sanded. Today I plan to caulk all trim in preparation for painting it on Thursday. I also did some wall repairs. If you’ll remember, I actually tried installing crown molding in this room along the longest wall (i.e., the wall between the home gym and the master bathroom), and then decided that I didn’t like it. The way crown molding is attached (nailed into walls and ceilings, with the different directions creating tension that holds the crown in place), means that removing crown mold will cause damage to drywall. These areas already had one coat of drywall glue, but I needed to apply another coat and sand them.
