Ah, summer! The sun is out, the birds sing, and we are slowly melting away like a forgotten Popsicle. It’s the perfect time to lounge by the pool, sip on icy lemonade, and of course, protect ourselves from those relentless UV rays. What better way to keep cool and stylish with a DIY reversible hat? Bucket hats are the hat of the summer–we had to try out our own version! With a touch of creativity, and a sewing machine that hasn’t lost its sense of adventure, let’s dive into this fun and practical project!
Summer Fabrics
This bucket hat is one of the summer accessories we’ve been making with our Lime Ricki swimsuit collection (seen above). You can find all of the patterns in our Spoonflower Shop. You’ve already seen how to make espadrilles, and the next step is a beachbag! Stay tuned!
